Travelodge By Wyndham Odessa

Seemed like I was stayin' in a run-down ol' place, bless your heart. The folks at the front were nice but it took a bit long to check in. The king bed was comfy, but them sheets could use a good wash, ya know?

The location was decent and close to places we visited.

I was traveling from AZ to NC and the first motel I had to leave my dog in the car overnight. Online they said they took pets but they didn't. I was very happy I could have my little dog in the room with me. Loved the hardwood floors. It also smelled very good.

The place was loaded with flies and very unclean. I didn't take a bath because the bathroom was not very clean. The baseboards, around the room, were dirty or missing. The ice bucket was greasy like someone with greasy hands had handled it. It was obvious it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The ice machine was very dirty and it looked like mold was growing around the opening.

The price was really nice, and the bed in the King Room Non-Smoking was fairly comfortable. I appreciated having both a microwave and refrigerator in the room.

The elevator didn't work. Stayed on 3rd floor. Hallway stank. Table lamp didn't work and apparently none available. Only lights in room were inside the doorway and the bathroom. Floor stained.

Vending machine, soda machine, and elevator were all out of order. There were trashy people loitering in the halls after midnight.

Can just recommend for a brief sojourn

The king room I stayed in had a microwave and refrigerator, convenient for keeping snacks and drinks cold during my trip.

Unfortunately, the bathroom had signs of wear, with visible damage to the ceiling that could definitely use some attention.

The sheets were very dirty. The staff was asleep when I arrived. There were bugs and was located in a very sketchy part of town. Also I called all night and the phone was off the hook.

I stayed in the Queen Room with Two Queen Beds, Non-Smoking for 2 nights. The room didn't smell bad, a plus! Beds were decent and comfy enough. The overall vibe of the hotel felt dated. The decor could seriously use a refresh.

Location was decent... night staff was friendly.

Elevator not working, 8:20 am brought kids down for breakfast...orange drink (not juice) & there was no waffle mix left & they refused to put more out for guests, rooms needed to be cleaned better... can't believe this is a Wyndham resort... very disappointed.

I got reasonably spacious room with a king size bed and the bathroom, as for instance as advertised. A microwave and a refrigerator were an advantage. The location was good and decent, relatively near a much-lauded museum. Moreover, it's adjacent to malls and restaurants, the ghetto, and Odessa for work...
